Roda de Samba with Sambaqui & João Gomes’ hits with Borogodó – live at Casi Casa Zürich
The last big samba of the year, and two premieres in one night. Terreiro Adalu returns to Casi Casa and presents two bands Zurich has never heard like this before: Sambaqui opens with a Roda de Samba led by Neya Castro. Classics that get the whole house singing along. Then Borogodó takes over and brings the biggest hits of João Gomes to the stage: Piseiro, Axé and pure Brasilidade. Two energies, one house, and the embrace only our roda knows. If you want to dance samba properly one more time in 2026: this is the night.
Sambaqui (roda de samba)
Sambaqui is Zurich's newest roda de samba, led by singer Neya Castro. At the next Terreiro Adalu it plays samba de raiz, the classic, traditional samba as it is sung in the rodas of Rio de Janeiro: the great classics to sing along to, right in the middle of the crowd. Borogodó sings João Gomes (Band)
Borogodó is the sonic spice of Brazil in Switzerland. The name says it all: borogodó is that charm you can neither explain nor copy. From pop to forró, from axé to piseiro, Zurich's newest Brazilian band plays the hits that shaped generations. On this night it plays what no party in Brazil can do without: from 90s axé to today's piseiro, plus the biggest hits of João Gomes. Nostalgia and current hits, played roda-style with the band in the middle of the crowd, 360°. Line-up: Camila Arantes (vocals) · G. Âmy B. (Lyon)
Before, between and after the concerts, Âmy B. is on the decks: DJ, vinyl collector and cultural producer from São Paulo, based in Lyon for 12 years and dedicated exclusively to Brazilian music. Founder of the Carnavália collective and of the weekly forró night Balanço Lyon, she has opened for Martinho da Vila, Emicida, Ilê Aiyê and Mariana Aydar and played festivals such as Nuits Sonores and Transmusicales. Hidden gems, great classics and new sounds until 2 am.
