Terreirinho is a family event by Adalu; a warm-hearted place where children can discover the rich Brazilian culture in a fun, educational and magical way. Through workshops, stories, dance and rhythm, the cultural roots of Brazil are explored and a connection with the origins is established. A space full of joy, encounters and transformation for children and families who want to experience the authenticity and beauty of Brazilian culture.

Percussion workshop - with Wellington Soares

At the percussion workshop for children with Wellington Soares, children discover the world of rhythms through playful experimentation. Using drums, rattles and body movements, they learn to make music, listen and express themselves creatively. The workshop promotes motor skills, coordination and team spirit - all in a lively, musical space full of joy.
Wellington Soares is an experienced percussionist with a career spanning decades who has played for renowned Brazilian artists such as Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil and Rappa. With his expertise, he inspires children to discover the fun of making music together and to develop their musical skills through play.

Workshop "Cortejo do Corpo Brincante" - with Diana Vieira

At the "Cortejo do Corpo Brincante" workshop, children and families immerse themselves in the lively rhythms and dances of Brazil. Through playful experiences and creative movement, they discover the magical world of Afro-Brazilian traditions. This space is designed to encourage each child's body awareness, imagination and expression - in a safe and inspiring atmosphere.
Diana Vieira is a Brazilian dancer, educator and founder of Movimento Corpo Plural. With over 10 years of experience, she develops projects that combine body awareness and cultural identity and invites people to experience the authentic beauty of Brazilian dances through movement and shared play.

Workshop on Brazilian folk culture "É o tambor de crioula" - with Andréa Zemp Nascimento

At the workshop on Brazilian folk culture with Andréa Zemp Nascimento, children and their parents immerse themselves in the lively world of tambor de crioula. Through storytelling according to Sonia Rosa, co-author of the children's book "É o tambor de crioula", the participants experience traditional dances, Brazilian games and the cultural diversity of Afro-Brazilian roots.
Andréa is a poet, art and play educator and architect with training in media art and cultural mediation in Zurich. She brings her passion for Brazilian culture and creative education to this inspiring experience.
