Mari Froes brings Brazilian rhythms to Switzerland

The up-and-coming artist Mari Froes returns to Europe this fall and plays over 30 shows within two months. Froes will be performing songs from her new album as well as her hits from the last few years.

Froes began her musical journey by publishing cover versions of her favorite songs from Brazil on her YouTube channel. In 2019, she released the first two singles of her career, "Moça" and "Rosa e Laranja". This was followed in 2020 by her first EP "Nebulosa", which was played over 30 million times on Spotify alone. In July 2024, the singer was invited by the world-famous YouTube channel "COLORS Studio" to perform the famous Brazilian song "Gabriela". In the same year, she shot a video in which she sang an excerpt from the song "Figa de Guiné" by Nei Lopes and Reginaldo Bessa, which went viral on TikTok and achieved over 72 million views. Due to its great success, the song was finally released as a single via Sony Music Germany.

Mari Froes blends the influences of Brazilian pop music with elements of bossa nova, samba and jazz in her compositions, creating her own authentic musical style. The artist has over seven million monthly listeners on Spotify, over two million fans on TikTok and almost one million subscribers on her YouTube channel.

Froes says she is looking forward to the tour and is very excited: "It's the third time we've come to Europe and each time it's a different feeling. This year we're visiting places I've never been before. I will gain new experiences and I can't wait".
